Educational Evaluations

Psycho-educational Evaluations

Psycho-educational evaluations are conducted for students who are struggling in school and are used to identify and diagnose learning disabilities, such as Dyslexia or Attention Deficit Disorder (ADD or ADHD).

The evaluation also provides important information about strengths and weaknesses in an individual's learning style. This information is then used as a guide for making recommendations about which teaching, remediation, and compensatory strategies will be most effective for a student.

Psycho-educational evaluations are also used to determine if an individual is eligible for receiving special accommodations during standardized testing, including the SATs, ACTs, and Advanced Placement (AP) exams.
